My goal is to leave all of my 2011 Outlook and Office data in place and end up having the newer 2016 applications to use.

My intent is to 'upgrade' my Office for Mac 2011 to Office for Mac 2016 and ensure I don't lose any Outlook or Office data. Not indicate the presence of Office for Mac 2011 so I was concerned that it may install the new 2016 version and either remove or somehow impair my existing 2011 Outlook and Office data files.
